FAQ'S

1.    Does the Muslim Educational Trust (MET) provide financial grants or assistance to  Students in the UK or overseas?

Ans: The Trust is an educational charity, which is mainly concerned with the education of Muslim children in Britain. It sends Muslim teachers some selected British schools with high proportion of Muslim pupils to teach them Islam in English under the provisions of the British education legislation. It does not have any funds for scholarship or any financial assistance to students whether in the UK or Overseas.

2.    Can you buy books of other publishers from the Muslim Educational Trust?

Ans. No, MET is not a bookshop. It is an educational organisation and it only sells its own publications to bookshops and individuals all over the world. You can now buy MET publications on line and directly from us through the order form in the Resources page.

3.    Can you buy MET publications by Credit card?

 Ans: Yes & No, we cannot accept credit card payment when you order by phone or by writing to us. You need to pay by cheque/ Postal order or by paying into our bank account. Details of how to pay for your order into our account, are available on request. However, you can now order online throught the website, through a secure payment system.


4.    Does the MET provide guidance on educational problems faced by Muslim parents in British schools?

     Ans. Yes, we provide guidance to British Muslims on their educational concerns, e.g. Sex-education lessons, Dietary provisions (halal food), mixed swimming-lessons,Music, Islamic dress, and  Prayer facilities etc.

5.    Can you do a GCSE Islam exam where you can obtain a certificate from the Examining Board?
